Mentor Training
With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with OUR local challenge. Domestic violence in Memphis and Shelby County is the highest in the nation!* Trauma is something we take very seriously, and our team is working hard each and every day to make a positive impact for social reform. We are affiliate partners with the Memphis Grizzlies Foundation to assist in the training of mentors and best practices. Contact us to learn more about our commitment to this cause.

Reboot Recovery
At Almost Home Retreat, we're passionate about raising awareness in our community. We're adding curriculum Reboot Recovery for Vets, First Responders, and anyone who has experienced trauma. Finally...an all inclusive curriculum to address any pain!! Deployment of this program in our local community will address a practical way to unpack your trauma, so you can regain mental health and stability. These are designed with small group interaction. As we promote healthy opportunities for those affected by trauma, participants will learn new thought patterns to overcome toxic thinking. Power Of Art
We have partnered with Lynne Barletta, using The Power of Art III curriculum. Using right-side of the brain drawing, this is a 9 week program that shows remarkable improvement with PTSD! The program has proven to be successful with the sex trafficked victim. Measurable data has been collected in a pilot program in Stuart, Florida with the local Department of Juvenile Justice. Our current work in Memphis indicate similar results as the participants range in age from 15 to 62.
